A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT AND
THE SECRETARY OF EUA

DEAR EUA MEMBERS AND COLLEAGUES:

       We have the great pleasure to invite you to participate in the activities of the 40th annual meeting of the Egyptian Urological Association (EUA) which will be held in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. This year the European Association of Urology (EAU) will join our meeting celebrating the 40th meeting.

       The congress will offer scientific sessions cover all aspects in the field of urology. The meeting will also offer educational sessions by internationally acknowledged experts. A medical exhibition will show latest developments in medical technology and drug therapy.

       The cooperation between the two societies is becoming very fruitful. The European society was so leading and cooperating by offering the EUA members the previladge of 50% discount in their membership fees and the registration fees of their annual meetings, which in fact is truly appreciated from our board and all the members.

        Exchange of knowledge and experience between the two societies is very effective, most of the urologists in the Middle East region received their post graduate training in Europe. So we have to be closer by increasing the number of membership in the European societies and sharing in their scientific meetings, and to cooperate more in our local meetings.

     We are very happy to invite you to the marvelous city on the red sea in South Sinai that is Sharm El Sheikh. It is one of the finest sea side resorts of the world, offering endless possibilities to do water sports, such as diving, snorkeling, or simply soaking in water and sun as well as the marvelous opportunity for visiting the well known historic sites in Egypt. We know that this will be a memorable experience for all participants, complementing the exchange of scientific information.

     On behalf of the executive committee and all members of the board of the EUA, we extend a warm invitation to urologists from Egypt and all over the world. We would like to encourage you to participate in this great event and to contribute to its success by sharing with us your experience and knowledge in the field of urology.

     We promise that we will save no effort to make your trip unforgettable.
